Process
Lighting setup. I used a lot of lights in this scene to really highlight the devices, as well as add visual interest to backgronds and flat surfaces. Light Solo by Eyedesyn was essential here to know what light was doing what. You will also notice some GSG Hdri Link tags on the lights. While I made some custom textures for some of the lights, adding in the GSG Area Light maps is a quick way to give the lights some variation and randomness.

Camera movement is the main animation in this piece, and the direction was to keep it playful. I put the cameras under nulls so that it would be easy to do orbits of the various devices once the camera stopped. Also a lot of banking here. You will see the point we switch from one camera to the next, when we fly through the tv in the office pod.
